The News in Zingers

By Argus Hamilton

http://www.JewishWorldReview.com | NBC News reported grim statistics Thursday indicating that the U.S. lost one hundred and thirty thousand millionaires just last year. It could be a problem for Democrats. President Obama can't very well attack Mitt Romney if he's on the Endangered Species List.

The Senate demanded a probe into recent leaks of top-secret intelligence to the New York Times. Everyone has adjusted. Last week the CIA got rid of six al-Qaeda fighters in Pakistan by telling President Obama they're CIA informants, and making him promise not to tell a soul.

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta announced that U.S. drones killed al-Qaeda's number-two leader in Pakistan Tuesday. It's the eighth drone kill since May. To be safe, the U.S. has designated every guy in Pakistan over the age of fifteen al-Qaeda's number-two leader.

Donald Trump sued a Miss USA contestant for libeling his pageant Friday. He sounds overwrought. Last week Donald Trump got mixed up and told Miss USA to endorse tax cuts for the wealthy, then told Mitt Romney to show more leg and rub Vaseline on his teeth.

Florida's governor slammed the Department of Justice for refusing to share its list of legal U.S. citizens for voter ID. Illegal aliens have devised a a foolproof way of sneaking into the state. They hide inside bales of marijuana and wash up on Miami Beach unnoticed.

Charlie Sheen told Rolling Stone he's given up drugs completely and feels better. His recovery includes a few drinks a night of vodka with no ice. It's considered a sign of maturity in Hollywood when an actor returns to Barrymore's drug.

San Francisco installed surveillance cameras on streets Tuesday to detect suspicious behavior. It's not new. San Franciscans once sent Japanese-Americans to internment camps on suspicion of being disloyal and don't think they won't do it to straight couples too.

President Obama told a gay L.A. fundraiser that Michelle can do more push-ups than he can because she doesn't go down all the way. The president didn't intend the double entendre. He intends to write his own chapter in history, he's not here to do Clinton jokes.

Hillary Clinton called for Syria's leader Bashar al-Assad to step down following more violence. She speaks for all of us. Every American is rooting for an end to bloodshed so that we might have a peaceful transition to democracy and three dollars a gallon by Labor Day.
