And now for the important news ....
The White House announced Monday the administration will stop allowing companies to apply for waivers that let them disregard the Health Care Reform law. There's a lot of confusion over ObamaCare. Democrats think it's a pill and Republicans think it's a suppository.
John Edwards smiled pleasantly for his booking photo last week after being indicted in North Carolina for using campaign funds to cover up a mistress. He had reason to smile. The first lesson they teach you in law school is that a man is innocent until he runs out of money.
NBC revealed its deal with Donald Trump Wednesday which will pay Donald Trump sixty-five million a year to host the network's hit show, The Apprentice. To watch someone get fired on TV in this recession is like witnessing a public execution. Even the NFL can't compete with it.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell met with owners Tuesday and vowed to get a labor deal with the players very soon. This country is crazy about pro football. Green Bay is the only place where married couples stay together so they don't have to break up the bobblehead dolls.
Hillary Clinton ended her silence about Saudi Arabia's law banning women from driving Wednesday and said she supports the Saudi women protesters. They want her backing. She is the only American woman they know whose husband is allowed to have more than one wife.
Leon Panetta was confirmed for Secretary of Defense on Tuesday. He'll try to wage a war in Libya with no money and withdraw from Afghanistan without it falling apart. He won't officially take over the job until he finishes two months of rigorous training at the Magic Castle.
