The Tour de France will get rolling in Paris Sunday. This
country is getting ready for its close-up. Paris is such an
overwhelming favorite to host the next Olympics that Jacques
Chirac has given the go-ahead to resume being rude to tourists.
The Supreme Court ruled Monday that a Ten Commandments
display was constitutional in Texas but not in Kentucky. There's a
good reason they made it legal in Texas. They're hoping that Thou
Shalt not Steal will do something to bring down oil prices.
War of the Worlds opens tonight and depicts the destruction
of New Jersey by aliens. It doesn't help one presidential
candidate. Both New York and New Jersey have now been attacked since Rudy Giuliani shut down John Gotti's protection racket.
Bill Clinton flew up to Maine for a book signing Monday and
then traveled to Kennebunkport to visit former President Bush.
They had a nice talk and went out on the speedboat together.
Hillary can't believe he's seeing another president.
Texas beat Florida to win the College World Series in Omaha.
Both teams fell to their knees after the last out. The Texas kids
were thankful to win the title and the Florida kids were thankful
to be eight hundred miles from the nearest shark.
