The famed and sainted Rebbe of Satmar once said, only half in jest, that "the reason why it's not forbidden by Jewish Law to paste placards on another's building and wall in Jerusalem is because without those posters the buildings would most certainly fall."

Announcements of deaths, concerts, trips, sales and public acknowledgments are plastered on Jerusalem walls and many of its buildings.
