http://www.JewishWorldReview.com | If Major League Baseball commissioner Bud Selig really wants to do a public service, instead of investigating Barry Bonds and others for allegedly using banned performance enhancing substances, he should find out who illegally leaked grand jury testimony in the Balco Sports doping case.

There has been a judicial investigation along with congressional hearings about the use of illegal substances in Major League Baseball and now Major League Baseball is going to go over the same ground that both federal prosecutors and congress have covered.

Will the Major League Baseball's investigation unearth anything new?

Probably not.

Does anyone remember that steroids possession was made illegal without a doctor's permission by an act of Congress in 1990 and that a user can go to jail?

Probably not.

The problem is all perception and that an athlete caught using a banned substance is a cheater. That's what Major League Baseball is worried about cheating, not the fact that some of its employees may have broken federal laws.
