By Argus Hamilton
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger proposed mandatory health insurance Monday. No one knows why he would propose such a Democratic Party idea. Maria must have caught him cheating, and breaking his leg with a baseball bat was not enough for her.
The Boston Globe reported Monday that Senator John Kerry will decide in four weeks if he's going to run for president. He won't know until Valentine's Day if he'll have enough money to run. That's when Teresa always gives him his envelope.
Senate Democrats proposed ethics reform legislation on Tuesday. It calls for lawmakers to pay the real cost of corporate jet flights and the full cost of skybox tickets for sporting events. If you want to know ahead of time what's going to happen to this bill, you simply need to watch the last five minutes of Old Yeller.
Senator Teddy Kennedy told reporters on Tuesday that Iraq is George W. Bush's Vietnam. It was worth a try. The best minds in Washington thought if they could convince President Bush that Iraq was Vietnam, he could find a way to get out of it.
