http://www.JewishWorldReview.com | The Miss America Pageant will he telecast live from the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas on Saturday. You can't beat the atmosphere. The Aladdin was imploded and completely rebuilt in time for the pageant, and, by coincidence, so was Miss Nevada.

Paul Bremer wrote a book about his year as Iraq Administrator. It was a failed mission. He tried to set up a U.S.-style democracy but he couldn't persuade the lobbyists that throwing money at the lawmakers was more effective than throwing bombs.

Republicans proposed reducing their lobbyist-paid lunch limit from fifty to twenty dollars. It won't change anything. Washington restaurants will simply offer three menus — the regular menu, the children's menu and the congressmen's menu.

Iran banned Cable News Network from the country on Monday for mistranslating the Iranian president's speech to parliament on Sunday. He said Iran has the right to nuclear power. CNN translated it as, Watching Fox News causes radiation poisoning.
