Clint Eastwood vowed Friday to kill Michael Moore if he ever
shows up at his front door with a camera. His usual guerrilla
tactics won't work. Asking Michael Moore how to approach
Republicans is like asking Prince Harry what you should wear to
the Mardi Gras party.
The Golden State Warriors had a runway landing scare two
days after the Lakers had a runway landing scare. It's those
regulations. When you order NBA players to bring their seats to a
full and upright position, their heads go right through the fuselage.
The Weather Channel drew record high ratings Thursday
covering mudslides and tornadoes and avalanches. The network is
learning what Americans like to watch. During halftime at the
Super Bowl they plan to televise a salute to the Grand Tetons.
Pamela Anderson announced in London Sunday that she's gotten
breast implants again. The actress wanted the world to know. Two
years ago Pamela Anderson had breast reduction surgery, a medical
procedure that's known in Hollywood as retirement.
Iraqis who live in the United States were urged to vote
absentee in the Iraq election in two weeks. Safety is an issue.
Many voters will be dodging bullets just to get to the polls, but
they knew it was dangerous when they moved to Detroit.
Charles Graner got ten years for abusing Iraqi prisoners at
Abu Ghraib. This is a lousy idea. He will make so much money
selling chains-and-handcuffs photos on the Internet that by the
time he gets out he'll have enough money to run for Congress.
